INTRODUCTION

Director at Sandra Jacobs Attorneys Incorporated

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Sandra Jacobs. I have 26 years experience in the South African Immigration sphere.  I was employed at the Department of Home Affairs (Head Office) in February 1997 and worked at the Department until September 2012. ​I was an Assistant Director at the Special Investigations (Central Law Enforcement) Unit of the Department at the time of my resignation.

I have participated in the drafting of the amended Immigration Act, 13 of 2002, as amended, the Refugees Act and the Bill on Human Trafficking and Smuggling of persons and I managed many other projects successfully.

I enrolled for part time LLB (Bachelor of Laws) degree at UNISA in 2002 and graduated in May 2008. I finished my two years articles and my six months Law School at Wits University. I passed my Board Exams, and I was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court.

I am a firm believer that hard work pays off and that you should never loose scope of your vision in life.

I mainly deal with Immigration matters but also represent my clients during Criminal Court Proceedings and also assist in Family Court matters.
